Accidents can happen. Wool sweaters can unintentionally end up in the dryer, fleece pills with use, and fabric dye can fade over time. Unfortunately, these issues are not covered under our warranty policy, but we’ll be happy to share our recommendations for getting your item back to its former glory.
The following variables are considered accidental damage control also known as normal wear and tear and are not covered under the Fjällräven Limited Lifetime Warranty:
- Fading and/or discoloration
- Improper waxing and/or excessive sun exposure
- Damaged faux fur (we do not offer replacements or sell this as a standalone product)
- Rips, tears and/or cuts
- Fabric abrasion and/or fabric pilling
Manufacturing defects can and may include all defects due to the construction, design, or material components of the garment. These are defects that are pre-existing upon purchase, although not necessarily apparent or visible yet. In short, these are issues (or defects) that are present before you even receive the product and only come to light once you begin using it; manufacturing defects are separate from issues that arise as a result of misuse or improper care.
The following variables are considered to be manufacturing defects and are covered under the Fjällräven Limited Lifetime Warranty:
- Split seams
- Broken buttons/snaps
- Broken zippers
- Broken buckles
If your garment has a manufacturing defect, please Submit a Request below to contact Customer Service. The average turnaround time for a repair is approximately three to four weeks. In order to adhere to government regulations, all items are required to be cleaned prior to being returned for repair.
